Introduction
The purpose of this text is to
provide a general overview of the culture and is intended as a resource for
students and teachers of European Archaeology.
- Rmíz: A 17 ha (42 acres) TRB
I - II stonewalled hilltop site with TRB II satellite copper production
site and two adjacent Lengyel sites.
- Kosíř/Slatinki: Large
TRB I-II double ditch enclosed hilltop site (5 km SSE of Rmíz).
- Hrad u Bílovice: A 1.5 ha
(3.7 acres) Late Lengyel, plus TRB II hilltop site with deep double
ditches (7 km SSW of Rmíz) with a TRB satellite site in the valley.
- Olomouc: Destroyed settlement
on a rise near the Morava River (17 km W of Rmíz).
- Čubernice/Ohrozim-Plumlov:
Enclosed TRB II hilltop site (12 km S of Rmíz).
- Čechovice: Destroyed TRB
II hilltop site (ca. 15 km south SSE of Rmíz)
- Otaslavice: Impressive TRB II
multi ditched enclosed hilltop site (20 km S of Rmíz).
