The Comparative Archaeology WEB accepts manuscripts for publication, including news bulletins, announcements, professional quality abstracts, reports, research papers, dissertations and databases. Emphasis is placed on color illustrations.

Researchers are especially encouraged to submit:

1.      Test the results reported on the Comparative Archaeology WEB in their own research area in detail and report their own conclusions for comparative purposes.

2.      Summaries of significant non-English publications are of special interest, since they provide needed comparative data.

3.      News bulletins on archaeological recent discoveries and research results are helpful in keeping the readership informed of recent archaeological research worldwide.

4.      Abstracts and papers presented at archaeological conferences and other meetings, which are increasingly difficult to  publish through conventional publishing houses are welcome.

Submit all manuscripts to the Senior Editor Dr. Maximilian O Baldia. Use electronic media, such as email, diskettes, or CD’s. The preferred software is Microsoft Word for Windows 2000. Illustrations should use a pixel size sufficient to provide sharp, readable illustration on computer monitor that is set to 1024 by 768 pixels. (Conversion to PDF format is possible, if desired by the author.)

Submissions and comments will be peer reviewed by professional archeologists and scientists in related fields before being published. Accepted contributions of professional and scientific value can reside on the Comparative Archaeology WEB or on other homepages. All submissions should be in English.
