The tables were compiled and constitute part of the ca. 5000 Funnel Beaker culture tombs and German gallery-graves
analyzed for the 1995 Ph. D. dissertation at the Anthropology Department, Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas.
·
The number of Polish tombs must be much higher. I have had no
access to the national survey results of the 1990’s.
·
The tables is being updated with floor plans and photographs.

WietrzychowiceLNProxim..26-Sep-2000 10:36 143k
Proximal or wide end of one of the long-mounds with Polish archaeologists on top of the mound for scale. The mounds cover one or more graves near the proximal end. The graves are surrounded by a relatively rectangular sub-megalithic stone frame and contain a single, extended skeletons placed on its back. The graves should not be confused with chambers.
WietrzychowiceLNProxim..26-Sep-2000 10:29 97k
